Assistant Preschool Teacher Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate preschool activities and lesson plans
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
- Prepare classroom materials and ensure safety and cleanliness
- Supervise and provide support to children

Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- At least 6 months previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Shows empathy and compassion for young children
- Works productively without supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
